The short version
We collect what we need to make Picket work for you. We don't sell your data. We don't share your saved jobs, notes, or outreach with other contractors. Your pipeline is yours.
What we collect
- Account info — email, password (hashed), company name, contact preferences.
- Pipeline data — properties you save, status changes, notes you write, jobs you mark won or lost.
- Brand profile — logo, company info, email signature you set up so generated content has you on it.
- Usage analytics — pages visited, buttons clicked, features used. We use this to improve the product. No keystroke logging, no recording of homeowner contact info you copy out.
What we don't collect
- Credit card numbers — those go directly to our payment processor and we never see them.
- The content of your inbox, your texts, or your calls. We don't integrate with your email or phone.
- Homeowner data beyond what's already in public county records, plus the skip-trace contact info you explicitly ask us to look up.
What we do with it
- Run the product (scoring, briefing, outreach generation, dashboard).
- Provide customer support when you email us.
- Improve the product (which features get used, where users drop off, what breaks).
- Send you account emails (billing, security) and occasional product updates.
Who sees your data
Just you, and the Picket team for support and product work. We use a small set of third-party services to make the product run (hosting, email, analytics, AI providers); your data passes through them only to the extent needed. We don't sell, rent, or trade your data with anyone.
AI providers
Picket calls AI services (OpenAI, Google Gemini) to generate property briefs, call scripts, and email drafts. The prompts we send include property data and the brand info you set up — not your full pipeline or your other contractors' data. These providers don't train on Picket's API traffic.
Data we share with homeowners
When you use Picket's email or call tools, your brand profile (company name, your phone, your email) gets written into the messages — that's the point. The homeowner only ever sees what you actually send them.
Your controls
- Update your account info anytime on the Account page.
- Remove a saved property from My Jobs at any time.
- Cancel your subscription anytime — your data stays accessible.
- Email help@getpicket.ai to request a full export or full deletion.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a small set of cookies for analytics. No third-party advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we'll update this page and email you for any material changes before they take effect.
